Grove Street Auto Repair Proudly Supports “Party for the Pantry” Fundraiser Raising Over $31,500 for Local Food Assistance

At Grove Street Auto Repair, supporting our community is just as important as keeping our customers safely on the road. We are proud to share that we were a sponsor of this year’s Party for the Pantry, an incredible annual fundraiser that brought the Franklin community together for a meaningful cause.

On Saturday, March 28, neighbors, local businesses, and music lovers packed THE BLACK BOX for an unforgettable evening of live music, generosity, and community spirit. Thanks to the overwhelming support, the event raised more than $31,500 to benefit the Franklin Food Pantry and its mission to assist individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

The night was filled with energy as local bands, including The Fab 3 Acoustic Tribute to The Beatles, Karate Show, and South Street 6, delivered outstanding performances. Attendees also took part in a silent auction featuring luxury travel experiences and exciting door prizes, all contributing to the Pantry’s vital programs and services.

“Looking out at the crowd, I was deeply moved by the way our community shows up for one another,” said Tina Powderly, Executive Director of the Franklin Food Pantry. “The success of Party for The Pantry is a testament to the compassion of every musician, sponsor, and supporter who made the night possible.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Events like Party for the Pantry highlight the strength and generosity of the Franklin community. As a local business, Grove Street Auto Repair is honored to stand alongside other sponsors and supporters who are committed to making a real difference. The funds raised will directly help provide food, essential supplies, and critical resources to nearly 1,900 individuals served by the Franklin Food Pantry each year.

This event, founded by Ray Auger and William Donovan and co-organized by Deirdre Donovan, continues to grow in impact each year, bringing people together not only for great music, but for a powerful cause: ensuring no one in our community faces hunger alone.

We extend our gratitude to the Franklin Food Pantry, event organizers, fellow sponsors, performers, and everyone who attended and contributed. Your support truly makes a difference.
